Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the conference. Also attending were members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, the Provincial People's Committee and the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; and leaders of departments, agencies, sectors and localities, research institutes, universities, enterprises and cooperatives, along with a large number of officials and exemplary farmer members.

At the conference, delegates watched a documentary summarizing the province's results in carrying out its political tasks during the first six months of 2026; the outstanding results in agricultural development linked to digital transformation and the application of science, technology and innovation; and also heard a summary of the opinions and recommendations submitted to the conference by officials, members and farmers.

The dialogue took place in a democratic, frank and open atmosphere. Many opinions and recommendations focused on the following: Implementing guidelines and policies on the development of agriculture, farmers and rural areas; developing green agriculture and commodity agriculture; planning concentrated production areas; restructuring crop patterns; deep processing and expanding markets for agricultural products; developing the collective economy and the OCOP program; credit policies for production; applying digital transformation in agriculture; developing rural tourism and community-based tourism; and mechanisms to attract enterprises to invest in the agricultural sector.

Based on the farmers' opinions and recommendations, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, together with provincial leaders and leaders of departments and sectors, directly answered and clarified many matters within their authority; for outstanding issues, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assigned the functional agencies to take them on board, study them, and advise on their resolution in accordance with regulations, creating favorable conditions for the development of green, modern and sustainable agriculture.

Within the framework of the conference, many practical activities also took place, such as: Consulting on the development of forest environmental services, forest certification and carbon credits; awarding growing-area code certifications; awarding national five-star OCOP product certifications; presenting Certificates of Commendation from the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee to 5 individuals who are members and exemplary, outstanding farmers in local agricultural production and business; signing memoranda of understanding on cooperation between Thai Nguyen Province and research institutes, universities, associations and enterprises to promote research and the development of key crops, agricultural tourism and community-based tourism; and announcing the establishment decision and launching the Party Cell of a cooperative operating in the agricultural sector in the province.

Speaking at the conference, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong acknowledged and highly valued the sense of responsibility and the dedicated, practical opinions of officials, members and farmers; and affirmed that agriculture continues to be an important pillar of the province's economy. He emphasized that developing green agriculture and circular agriculture, applying science and technology, digital transformation and value-chain-based production linkages are indispensable requirements for raising the added value and competitiveness of Thai Nguyen's agricultural products. He requested all levels, sectors and localities to promptly carry out the assigned tasks and to focus on resolving farmers' opinions and recommendations in a timely manner; to stay close to the grassroots, strengthen dialogue, and bring guidelines and policies into life. At the same time, he called for effective coordination among management agencies, scientists, enterprises and cooperatives in research, the transfer of science and technology, and the development of key agricultural products, contributing to building an ecological agriculture, a modern countryside and civilized farmers.
