On the morning of May 22, the provincial working group, led by Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies as Head of the Group, attended, joined the end-of-school-year celebration and presented gifts to children on the occasion of International Children's Day June 1 at Xuan Duong Kindergarten in Xuan Duong commune. Joining the Group was Comrade Nong Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, along with leaders of some provincial departments and branches.

On the occasion of the 136th anniversary of the birth of President Ho Chi Minh (May 19, 1890 – May 19, 2026) and the 79th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh’s return to ATK Dinh Hoa alongside the Party Central Committee and Government to lead the resistance war against French colonialism (May 20, 1947 – May 20, 2026), on the morning of May 18, a delegation representing the Party Committee, government and people of all ethnic groups of Thai Nguyen Province offered flowers and incense, expressed their profound reverence and commemorated President Ho Chi Minh at the Traditional House of Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee and at notable historical sites across the province closely associated with the leadership and direction of the resistance war by President Ho Chi Minh and key leaders of the Party and State during the anti-French resistance period in the province.

Amid the shift toward sustainable economic restructuring, Thai Nguyen Province is progressively affirming its determination to make tourism an important economic sector that contributes to improving people's livelihoods. With a systematic approach that links tourism development with cultural preservation and environmental protection, Thai Nguyen is expected to achieve major tourism breakthroughs in the coming period.

On the morning of May 9, at Dung Tan Commercial and Tourism Center (Song Cong ward), Thai Nguyen Provincial People’s Committee organized the “Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs” Program for May 2026, themed “Green agriculture and tourism development orientations of Thai Nguyen Province”.

On the morning of April 22, Thai Nguyen Province Red Cross organized the Launching Ceremony of Humanitarian Month 2026 at Mang Non Theater, Thai Nguyen Children’s House (Phan Dinh Phung ward), themed “80 Years — A Humanitarian Journey for the Community”, commemorating World Red Cross and Red Crescent Day (May 8). Attending the Launching Ceremony were: Comrade Dinh Quang Tuyen, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of Fatherland Front Committee; Comrade Dong Van Luu, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; Comrade Nong Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee; along with representatives of provincial departments, agencies, enterprises, philanthropists, and a large number of officials, association members, and volunteers.

On the afternoon of April 19, the Ministry of Education and Training held the closing ceremony of the 8th National Student Startup Festival and presented awards for the 8th “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition (SV.Startup 2026).

Each tourism season is an occasion for the locality to introduce visitors to the natural beauty, cultural identity and vibrant spirit of its land. Under the theme "A Symphony: Lake on the Mountain, Tea in the Clouds”, Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026 has brought residents and visitors a distinctive series of cultural, sports and tourism experiences, with many activities held for the first time, leaving a deep impression on the public and inspiring high hopes for a breakthrough year.

On the afternoon of May 6 (the 20th day of the third lunar month), at the National Relic Site of the Ly Nam De Temple (Den Muc), Thai Nguyen Province delegation paid tribute in commemoration of the 1,478th death anniversary of Emperor Ly Nam De.

On April 20, 2026, Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed and issued Plan No. 170/KH-UBND on organizing the Opening Ceremony of Thai Nguyen Province Tourism Season "Lakes on Mountains - Tea Among the Clouds" 2026, aimed at promoting the province's tourism potential and strengths, attracting visitors and investors, and contributing to socio-economic development.

In the first quarter of 2026, tourism in Thai Nguyen Province recorded clear signs of recovery and growth, continuing to affirm its important role in driving local socio-economic development.

On March 24, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed and issued Plan No. 114/KH-UBND on strengthening forest management and protection at Ba Be National Park, with the aim of proactively preventing acts of encroachment on forest resources, protecting the ecosystem and biodiversity and contributing to the sustainable development of ecotourism.

On March 28, Thai Nguyen Province Youth Union launched the Online Contest on Understanding the Resolution of the 1st Congress of Thai Nguyen Province Youth Union for the 2025–2029 term.
