In recent years, Thai Nguyen province has implemented a wide range of measures to create a more open and attractive investment and business environment, drawing strong participation from the private sector. Through clear strategic direction and concrete measures, Thai Nguyen has committed to continuing its support of the private economy, transforming it into a “new engine of growth” and a pivotal force in advancing the province’s socioeconomic development.

Despite considerable volatility in both the domestic and international economic environment, Thai Nguyen province’s economic landscape in Q1/2026 has presented a notably bright and vibrant picture. These results stand as clear evidence of the concerted efforts and resolute determination with which all levels of government and sectors throughout the province have implemented their assigned tasks and solutions. These results have thereby helped reinforce public confidence and establish a critical foundation for the province to realize its double-digit growth target in 2026.

On the afternoon of February 27, at the Headquarters of the Party Committee of Phu Binh commune, the Standing Board of the Thai Nguyen Provincial Party Committee organized a working conference with communes belonging to (former) Phu Binh district to grasp the situation of socio-economic development task implementation, timely remove difficulties and orient solutions to promote development in the coming time.

On March 24, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed and issued Plan No. 114/KH-UBND on strengthening forest management and protection at Ba Be National Park, with the aim of proactively preventing acts of encroachment on forest resources, protecting the ecosystem and biodiversity and contributing to the sustainable development of ecotourism.

On the morning of March 26, Dong Phuc Commune People's Committee organized the Ceremony to announce and award the Decision of Thai Nguyen Province People's Committee on recognizing Bang Phuc Shan Tuyet Tea Craft Village.

In a jubilant atmosphere marking the 80th anniversary of the Traditional Day of Vietnam’s Sports Sector (March 27, 1946 – March 27, 2026), on March 28, Phu Luong Commune People’s Committee organized the Opening Ceremony of the 1st Sports Festival 2026 under the theme “Phu Luong Sports – Aspirations to Reach New Heights”.
