According to the report, the Festival is expected to take place from October 30 to November 7, 2026. To date, preparatory tasks have basically been carried out on schedule by departments, sectors, and localities as assigned. The Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism has advised on a draft decision to establish the Organizing Committee, sub-committees, and working groups, and has developed a draft overall script and schedule for organizing the Festival's activities. Departments, sectors, and localities have also basically completed the draft implementation plan and cost estimate according to their assigned tasks.

Communication efforts are being organized in three phases before, during, and after the Festival, focusing on press agencies, digital platforms, grassroots information systems, and visual communication. The opening and closing ceremony scripts continue to be finalized, with the Closing Ceremony expected to be held in conjunction with the Finals of the Vietnam Master Tea Competition.

In addition, a number of highlight activities are also being prepared, such as: the Hanoi - Thai Nguyen Heritage Train connecting tea culture experiences and tea-growing area tourism; activities at the 5 tea-growing areas of Dong Hy, Tan Cuong, La Bang, Dong Phuc, and Vo Tranh; the International Tea Forum; the folk song and dance art program "Tea Fragrance Connecting Heritage - Rhythm of the Four Directions"; the Tea Street space, exhibition, culinary, and investment promotion area; the Golf Tournament and the "Tea Tasting in the Clouds" program; the Vietnam Master Tea Competition; the dossier proposing to inscribe Thai Nguyen tea culture on the National List of Intangible Cultural Heritage, along with the Thai Nguyen Tea brand identification system using QR codes, digital records, and traceability...

At the meeting, delegates focused their discussion on the progress of implementing tasks, plans for organizing activities, communication work, mobilization of socialized resources, and proposed solutions to ensure that the Festival is organized in a coordinated and effective manner.

Delivering directive remarks, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee Nguyen Thi Loan requested that departments, sectors, and localities continue reviewing their assigned work. Specifically: move swiftly to finalize and submit to the Provincial People's Committee for issuance the Decision establishing the Organizing Committee, sub-committees, and working groups for the Festival; assign tasks to members with clearly defined people, work, and timelines, ensuring quality and feasibility; continue to finalize the detailed plan and cost estimate, ensuring that the Festival is organized in a solemn, effective, economical, and compliant manner; step up communication about the Festival's activities on mass media and social media platforms; focus on developing tourism products linked to tea culture to serve visitors coming to sightsee and experience it; and accelerate the rollout of digital identification codes, QR codes, and traceability for tea products. In addition, proactively develop plans to ensure security, safety, logistics, and other necessary conditions for successfully organizing the Festival, creating a strong impression and helping to promote tea culture and the image of Thai Nguyen to friends at home and abroad.
