Connecting labor supply and demand, expanding employment opportunities

On the morning of April 10, Thai Nguyen Province Department of Home Affairs, in coordination with relevant agencies, units, and localities, organized the Opening Ceremony of the 2026 Peak Week for Connecting Labor Supply and Demand. The program was connected to numerous localities within the province and the employment exchanges of 10 northern provinces and cities.

Thai Nguyen Province Cooperative Alliance Congress: Developing collective economy to contribute to building a prosperous and beautiful Thai Nguyen province

On the morning of April 7, the Thai Nguyen Province Cooperative Alliance formally held its First Congress for the 2025–2030 term, bringing together 300 official delegates from agencies, units and localities across the province, as well as relevant organizations and cooperatives, cooperative unions, cooperative groups, people's credit funds and enterprises that are members of the Provincial Cooperative Alliance.

On the morning of March 27, the Department of Health of Thai Nguyen province organized a Program to meet and deploy tasks for 46 doctors seconded to work at commune and ward health stations in 2026. Attending the Program were Comrade Nong Quang Nhat, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and representatives of leaders of several hospitals, universities and localities receiving doctors.

Resolution passed on assigning Thai Nguyen Province People’s Committee as the managing authority for Lang Son - Thai Nguyen Expressway Project

On March 29, at the Thirteenth Session (Thematic Session), the 14th Provincial People’s Council passed a Resolution on the policy of designating Thai Nguyen Province People’s Committee as the managing authority responsible for implementing the Lang Son - Thai Nguyen Expressway Construction and Investment Project.

Continuing to accelerate the progress of industrial cluster infrastructure projects

On March 11, Permanent Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Bui Van Luong signed to issue Official Letter No. 2265/UBND-CNN&XD on urging and strengthening the implementation of tasks and solutions to accelerate the deployment progress of industrial cluster (IC) infrastructure projects in the province.

Opening of Thai Nguyen Province Data Center

On the morning of March 13, Thai Nguyen province organized the Opening Ceremony of the Provincial Data Center. This is an event of important significance, marking a turning point in the effort to implement the comprehensive digital transformation of the province as well as concretize the guidelines and directions of the Party and State, especially Resolution No. 57-NQ/TW dated December 24, 2024 of the Politburo on breakthroughs in developing science, technology, innovation and national digital transformation.

Credit in Thai Nguyen slightly increases in early 2026

According to data from the State Bank of Vietnam (SBV) Region 5, in the first 2 months of 2026, banking activities in the area continued to maintain stability. Credit grew slightly, focusing on production and business sectors and economic development drivers, while mobilized capital slightly decreased compared to the end of 2025.
