Provincial Party Standing Committee provides input on 31 issues concerning Party building and socio-economic development
On the morning of July 14, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, chaired the 17th Conference of the Provincial Party Standing Committee to review and provide input on 31 issues concerning Party building, political system building, and socio-economic development of the province.

The Conference was attended by comrades: Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; Nguyen Dang Binh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Head of the Provincial Delegation of National Assembly Deputies; Members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; leaders of the Provincial People's Council, Provincial People's Committee, and Provincial Fatherland Front Committee; and representatives of the Central Party building commissions.

At the Conference, delegates focused their discussion and provided input on issues concerning inspection and supervision work; internal affairs and corruption, waste, and negative phenomena prevention and control; cadre training and development; important mechanisms and policies; and investment policy for a number of infrastructure development projects. These include the Ring Road 5 - Hanoi Capital Region Construction Investment Project; the investment plan for the tunnel route connecting Phu Tho - Thai Nguyen - Hanoi; and important policies serving the province's socio-economic development and social security.

Among the issues reviewed and commented on by the Provincial Party Standing Committee, 18 issues are expected to be submitted to the Fifth Session of the Provincial People's Council. These issues focus on the promulgation of mechanisms and policies in a range of areas such as: preferential treatment for people with meritorious service; security and order assurance, and fire prevention and fighting; support for cadres, civil servants, public employees, and workers relocating their workplaces; tuition fees and tuition fee support for the 2026 - 2027 school year; policies for students with disabilities and preschool teachers; digital technology industry development; emulation and commendation; mineral resource management; attraction and utilization of high-quality human resources; support for tourism development for the 2026 - 2030 period; implementation of national target programs; public investment, along with many other mechanisms and policies serving the province's sustainable development. Delegates thoroughly analyzed the legal basis and feasibility of each draft resolution, focusing their comments on the subjects of application, support levels, implementation resources, and the impact on the budget and the People's lives, ensuring that policies, once issued, are practical and convenient to implement.

Delivering directive remarks at the Conference, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that the Provincial Party Standing Committee had largely reached consensus on the issues submitted for consultation, and requested that the Party Committee of the Provincial People's Committee and advisory agencies seriously and fully take on board the opinions given, and swiftly complete the dossiers and documents for submission to competent authorities for review and decision in accordance with regulations.

He noted that, for mechanisms and policies related to mineral extraction and the attraction and utilization of high-quality human resources, as well as policies that directly affect the people and businesses, advisory agencies must thoroughly assess feasibility, implementation resources, and practical impact, ensuring that policies are issued to the right subjects, are put into practice, and truly serve as a driving force for development.

For key transportation projects, he requested that agencies and units proactively prepare all necessary conditions, accelerate investment preparation work, and gradually improve inter-regional connectivity and expand the province's development space. In particular, the Ring Road 5 - Hanoi Capital Region Construction Investment Project must closely follow the requirements and implementation schedule under the plan of the central authorities.
