Speaking at the meeting, Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, praised Samsung's contributions to Thai Nguyen's socioeconomic development; he affirmed that the province regards Samsung as an important partner and remains committed to supporting the Group and facilitating the maintenance and expansion of its investment, production, and business operations in the province. He emphasized that Thai Nguyen hopes Samsung will continue to play a leading role in connecting enterprises across the supply chain, help strengthen the capabilities of domestic enterprises, and reinforce linkages between the FDI sector and local businesses, thereby contributing to the development of the province's industrial ecosystem.

Providing an update on the Group's operations, Samsung Vietnam General Director Na Ki Hong said Samsung continues to maintain its production and business operations while stepping up investment, innovation, and high-tech workforce development. In Thai Nguyen, Samsung is working with local partners to implement workforce training programs, supporting local businesses, and developing the industrial ecosystem. Notably, the Samsung Innovation Campus Center for High-Tech Talent Development at the University of Information and Communication Technology (Thai Nguyen University) has become operational, helping train personnel in artificial intelligence (AI), Big Data, the Internet of Things (IoT), and semiconductor technology.

Concluding the meeting, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of Party Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, acknowledged and praised Samsung's contributions to Thai Nguyen since 2013, particularly in promoting economic growth, creating jobs, promoting industrial development and workforce development, and carrying out social welfare and community support activities.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that cooperation between Thai Nguyen and Samsung in recent years has been translated into numerous practical programs, projects, and activities, delivering tangible benefits to both Samsung and the province. In the coming time, the province will continue to strengthen coordination and proactively address difficulties and obstacles facing Samsung entities operating in the province; it will also promote cooperation between Samsung and universities and training institutions in high-tech workforce development, research, innovation, and industrial ecosystem development.

He expressed confidence that, with a spirit of partnership and responsibility, backed by concrete actions, cooperation between Thai Nguyen and Samsung will continue to be strengthened and expanded, making substantive contributions to the province's socioeconomic development.
