In Tan Cuong commune, the delegation listened to reports on the development orientation of several projects in the area around Ghenh Che lake. According to the orientation, this area has an area of about 497 hectares, expected to develop commercial, service, tourism and tea culture functions associated with the lake landscape and Tan Cuong specialty tea area; and simultaneously arrange space for rural residential and industrial development. When synchronously invested in, this area will strengthen connection with industrial parks in the West of Pho Yen, contributing to creating more development momentum for the locality.

Regarding Ghenh Che lake, the locality proposed adjusting the lake water level elevation and expanding the spillway to ensure work safety and improve the water source regulation capacity.

Through the actual inspection, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee agreed on the policy of adjusting the lake water level elevation in a direction suitable to the spatial development orientation of the area. At the same time, he assigned departments and sectors to urgently review and complete the planning adjustment procedures, creating a basis for deploying investment projects in the coming time.

In Thanh Cong commune, the Working Delegation inspected the project implementation situation at Suoi Lanh lake area. Currently, this area is implementing the Glory golf course project with an area of nearly 54 hectares, a scale of 18 holes and a total investment of nearly VND 388 billion, which is included in the planning of 13 golf courses of Thai Nguyen province for the 2021 - 2030 period, with a vision to 2050. The investor, MDA G&C Co., Ltd., proposed researching to expand the project to a 27-hole scale to more effectively exploit the tourism and sports potential of the area.

However, in the area expected for expansion, there is currently a large-scale livestock farm. The enterprise recommended the province to consider a plan to relocate this facility to ensure the ecological environment and create conditions for project expansion.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee stated that relocating the livestock farm and expanding the project need to be carried out on the basis of selecting investors and implementing synchronous site clearance. The locality must coordinate closely with departments and sectors, especially the Department of Construction, to review suitable locations to introduce relocation sites. Furthermore, it is required to work with the livestock facility owner to soon agree on the implementation plan and research support mechanisms in accordance with regulations, creating conditions for the facility to stabilize production at the new location.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee also noted that for Suoi Lanh lake area, where the commune has supplemented the planning for a social housing project, related agencies and units must carefully research the location and investment plan, ensuring suitability with the spatial development orientation, landscape and practical needs of the locality.
