According to the report at the working session, in the 2023 - 2026 period, the comprehensive cooperation program between Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee and Vietnam Airlines brought about positive results, helping to spread the image of the land and people of the tea region to international friends. Accordingly, Vietnam Airlines has consistently partnered with the province in tourism promotion, international market connection, and local image promotion, bringing destinations rich in potential closer to domestic and foreign tourists and investors. Through the in-flight entertainment system, Heritage magazine, and the Heritage Guide publication, images of Thai Nguyen tourism have reached millions of passengers. However, cooperation activities currently focus mainly on promotion, tourism marketing, and attracting official-duty travelers to use Vietnam Airlines' air transport services; other areas of cooperation have not been exploited in a manner commensurate with the potential and strengths of the two sides.

At the working session, the representative of Vietnam Airlines Corporation proposed that the province support training on tea-brewing methods and tea knowledge for the cabin crew; cooperate in building and developing tea products from Thai Nguyen to be served on the airline's flights; build an OCOP story for each product to enhance the brand and bring tea products closer to travelers; study the creation of tea-based gift products to present to international friends at Vietnam Airlines conferences; bring Thai Nguyen tea into the customer experience journey on Vietnam Airlines' online channels; and launch tea-based beverages in the business lounge...

On the Thai Nguyen side, the delegates proposed that Vietnam Airlines continue to partner on matters such as: coordinating the organization of and participation in the province's cultural, sports, tourism, trade, and investment events; stepping up the promotion of Thai Nguyen's image in Heritage magazine, the in-flight entertainment system, the Lotus Lounge, and representative offices at home and abroad; supporting the placement of Thai Nguyen's OCOP products and agricultural produce on Vietnam Airlines' flights; adopting policies to help the province install panels, boards, and signs promoting the tourism image at airports; and offering preferential policies on ticket prices and shipping rates for the province's working delegations and travel businesses, as well as supporting freight transport for local enterprises and cooperatives...

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, recognized and highly appreciated the cooperation results between Thai Nguyen Province and Vietnam Airlines for the past time, especially the activities promoting the locality's image, culture, and tourism to a large number of domestic and international tourists. She emphasized that Thai Nguyen hopes the two sides will continue to expand and elevate their cooperation, focusing on accelerating the study, development, and early introduction of Thai Nguyen tea products on Vietnam Airlines' flights, lounges, and service ecosystem. The province will select representative tea products that meet quality and organic standards, as well as OCOP products from reputable cooperatives and enterprises, to introduce and serve passengers, contributing to promoting the Thai Nguyen tea brand to friends at home and abroad.
