According to statistics from the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks, there are currently about 119 businesses operating in fields related to supporting industry in the province, including 25 businesses in the electronics sector, 84 in the mechanical engineering sector, and 10 in other sectors, which is sufficient in number to mobilize the establishment of the Association. To date, 28 organizations and individuals have agreed to join the Association.

Speaking at the meeting, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the goal of establishing the Association is to build a force of supporting industry enterprises with sufficient capacity to participate in domestic and international supply chains, particularly to connect effectively with FDI enterprises. The province will work alongside the Association in providing information and connecting markets; supporting the removal of difficulties and obstacles related to mechanisms and policies; and creating favorable conditions for the business community to develop sustainably.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee expressed appreciation for the pioneering spirit of the businesses joining the Association and his wish to listen to ideas and suggestions for building an Association that operates effectively and substantively right from its early days. He affirmed his determination to make Thai Nguyen one of the country's pioneering localities in establishing a Supporting Industry Enterprise Association, creating a foundation to promote industrial development and gradually earn a place on the national and international industrial map.

At the meeting, businesses all expressed strong agreement with the province's policy and readiness to join the Association, with the aim of strengthening linkages, expanding cooperation opportunities, and participating more deeply in domestic and international supply chains. They also contributed many earnest opinions and proposed solutions on building a business database, connecting markets, sharing information on production needs, developing supply chains, supporting digital transformation, and enhancing the competitiveness of supporting industry enterprises in the new period.

Delivering directive remarks at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan stated that this was a meeting of special significance, laying the foundation for the formation of the Thai Nguyen Province Supporting Industry Enterprise Association. He emphasized that the founding of the Association would not only meet the business community's need for linkage and mutual support but also help concretize the Party Central Committee's major policies on developing science and technology and the private economy, and promoting the role of enterprises in socio-economic development.

He requested that the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks swiftly advise the Provincial People's Committee on establishing a Mobilization Board, ensuring that the establishment of the Association is carried out methodically and in accordance with regulations; and select a leadership team with prestige, experience, networking ability, and a spirit of dedication to the common development of the business community. In addition, attention should be paid to identifying and creating conditions for young, dynamic individuals capable of supporting and leading the Association's activities in the coming time.

He also requested that the Management Board of Thai Nguyen Industrial Parks continue to thoroughly prepare the conditions for organizing the Association's launch ceremony in mid-July 2026; develop a specific action plan for the Association and industry groups such as electronics-semiconductors, mechanical engineering, and electromechanics; implement a plan to support digital transformation for businesses; and complete the Association's member database.

The Thai Nguyen Province Supporting Industry Enterprise Association is expected to become an effective bridge between businesses and the government, and between domestic businesses and FDI enterprises, helping to build a strong and sustainable supporting industry ecosystem and create new momentum for the province's industrial growth in the coming period.
