As of August 18, 2026, health checkups had been provided to 1,168,870 people across the province, reaching 68.31% coverage. Notably, Thai Nguyen leads the country in the number of health-checkup records updated on the Ministry of Health's Health Data Portal; its data-update rate ranks third nationwide, behind Lai Chau and Dien Bien.
These results demonstrate the provincial health sector's efforts to accelerate universal health checkups while gradually digitizing, standardizing, and updating residents' health data. This helps establish longitudinal electronic health records, supporting proactive, continuous management, monitoring, and care.
