According to a report by the Department of Health, as of September 15, 2026, 1,230,942 residents province-wide had received regular health checkups or free screenings, accounting for 72.06% of the province's population. The proportion of health checkup results uploaded to the Ministry of Health's portal reached 36.9%, while the proportion of residents with electronic health records on VNeID reached 40.5%.

However, implementation still faces a number of difficulties and obstacles. The number of people requiring checkups is large, while organizing the examinations involves costs for personnel, medicines, medical supplies, laboratory testing, diagnostic imaging, transportation, examination sites, and data updates. Funding in some localities remains limited, even as the scope and requirements of the task continue to expand. Some groups are difficult to mobilize for checkups, especially people working away from home and those who are abroad while still registered as residents in their localities. Organizing checkup campaigns for residents in areas with difficult transport access also places substantial demands on personnel and transportation resources.

It also requested that relevant agencies promptly provide specific guidance on financial mechanisms, payment and settlement procedures, procurement, and funding arrangements so that localities and units have a basis for implementation.
