Delegates attended at Thai Nguyen bridge point

The conference was held online at 63 bridge points nationwide. Comrade Pham Hoang Son, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Council presided at the Thai Nguyen bridge point. The conference was also attended by Comrade Nguyen Thanh Binh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Fatherland Front Committee, departments, branches and socio-political organizations; leaders of a number of departments, committees and branches of the province.

At the conference, the leadership of the Central Committee for External relations thoroughly elucidated and informed the fundamental contents of Scheme No. 01 and Directive No. 12. Accordingly, Scheme No. 01 was promulgated in order to realize the objective of ensuring the highest national interests, making contribution to creating and maintaining a peaceful and stable environment, mobilizing resources for development, enhancing the position and prestige of the country, successfully realizing the strategic objectives and vision of the country approved by the 13th Congress of the Party set out for 2025 - 2030 and 2045; promote the pivotal and pioneering role of the Party's External relations. Directive No. 12 requires Party committees, authorities, the Vietnam Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and people's organizations to perform their tasks well in order to improve the effectiveness of people's external affairs, contributing to building a comprehensive and modern diplomacy with 3 pillars: the Party's external relations, State’s external relations and people's external relations.

At the conference, representatives of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, the Central Committee of the Vietnam Fatherland Front, the Vietnam Union of Friendship Organizations, provinces and cities participated in discussions, contributed ideas, recommendations and proposed solutions to implement Scheme No. 01, Directive No. 12 to improve the effectiveness of the Party's external relations, people's external relations in the new situation.

For Thai Nguyen, implementing Scheme No. 01 and Directive No. 12, the Provincial Standing Committee issued a plan to thoroughly and effectively implement the Directive to Party committees, authorities, the Fatherland Front, socio-political organizations and the people, thereby helping raise the awareness, role, position and importance of people's external relations in the new situation, meeting the requirements of comprehensively promoting the renovation, international integration and solid defense of the Fatherland; promote the expansion and strengthening of friendly relations and mutual understanding between the peoples of Thai Nguyen province and the people of other countries in the world.
