Leadership representatives of the Party Committee - People's Council - People's Committee - Fatherland Front Committee of Kha Son Commune receive the provincial-level historical relic certificate for Kha Nhi communal house

Kha Nhi communal house, situated in Kha Nhi hamlet (now Mai Kha hamlet), Kha Son commune (Phu Binh), was constructed and completed by the local people around the end of the 17th century during the reign of Later Le dynasty. Within the communal house, two stone steles named Hậu thần bi ký (Inscription of the Rear Deity) are preserved. The communal house is dedicated to the honor of General Duong Tu Minh, who made significant contributions to the people and the country during the 12th century.

The main front of Kha Nhi communal house

In 2010, local people organized renovation and embellishment to preserve Kha Nhi communal house. The communal house was constructed at the central location of the hamlet, on a high and airy hillside. It has an architecture following the shape of the word "Đinh" in Chinese characters, includes a front ceremonial hall with 11 m in length and 6 m in width, and a rear hall with 5 m in length and 5.5 m in width, total area of over 90 m2. Within the central chamber of the communal house, there is a raised altar for worship, elevated approximately 1 meter above the floor. On this altar, various worship items such as incense burners and ceremonial utensils are displayed. The front ceremonial hall is designed in the shape of a knife's edge with a sloping roof, adorned with Lưỡng long chầu nguyệt (Double dragons flanking the moon) along the roof's edges, and its exterior is constructed with un-plastered brickwork.

With the values of history, culture and science, on October 03, 2023, Thai Nguyen People's Committee issued Decision No. 2396/QD-UBND on recognition of provincial-level historical relic for Kha Nhi communal house in Kha Son commune, Phu Binh district, Thai Nguyen province. This is the legal basis that facilitates the management, protection and promotion of the value of relics, thereby attracting more and more tourists from all over the world to come to visit, contributing to the preservation of cultural values and socio-economic development in the area.

The provincial-level recognition and historical relic classification for Kha Nhi communal house by the People's Committee of Thai Nguyen province not only honor and affirm the historical and cultural values but also acknowledge and express special attention from various levels and sectors towards the efforts and contributions made by the Party, government, and the people of Kha Sơn commune in preserving and promoting the cultural and historical traditional values.
