Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, delivers directive remarks at the meeting

Delivering directive remarks at the meeting, Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized that in the second quarter of 2026, Thai Nguyen Province ranked third nationwide in economic growth rate. To help achieve the 2026 growth target, all levels, sectors, and localities need to focus on accelerating investment in industrial parks, ICs, and power projects in the province. Among these, site clearance is a key task that determines the progress of IC project implementation.

He assigned the Department of Industry and Trade to regularly urge progress, consolidate information, and coordinate with investors to promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles during IC implementation, and required each investor to make specific commitments on site clearance progress, financial capacity, investment resources, and project disbursement schedules. The Department of Finance was to proactively balance resources and ensure funding for localities to carry out their tasks on schedule. The Department of Construction was to review the list of 18 investors that had received approval in principle for investment but were slow to implement or failed to meet project timelines, and report to the Provincial People's Committee for consideration and appropriate handling.

Communes and wards need to proactively coordinate with the Provincial Land Fund Development Center to accelerate statistics and inventory work for site clearance, ensuring completion within the timeframe assigned by the Provincial People's Committee, as a basis for quarterly task performance evaluation.

For investors, he required that they proactively allocate sufficient resources for site clearance and technical infrastructure investment; develop plans to attract secondary investors into the ICs; and review the entire investment process and procedures to resolve obstacles and speed up implementation.

Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong affirmed that the leadership of Thai Nguyen Province, together with departments and sectors, remains ready to partner with investors at all times, and will continue to step up administrative reform and create an open and favorable investment environment for investors to implement projects in the province.
