Meeting with enterprises expected to join the Korean FDI Enterprise Association in Thai Nguyen
On the morning of July 7, 2026, Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting with enterprises expected to join the Korean FDI Enterprise Association in Thai Nguyen. Also attending were Comrade Tran Van Hau, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of provincial departments, boards, and agencies; and enterprises expected to join the Association.

Implementing the directive of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board proactively studied relevant regulations and coordinated to promote and mobilize FDI enterprises to join the Association. To date, 37 Korean enterprises have agreed to join.

At the meeting, the enterprises expressed strong consensus with the plan to establish the Association, and expressed hope that it would serve as an effective bridge between enterprises and the government and among enterprises themselves, helping to strengthen connections, share information, expand cooperation, participate more deeply in supply chains, and promptly resolve difficulties and obstacles arising during operations. The enterprises also proposed several matters related to coordination mechanisms and organizational methods to ensure the Association would operate effectively and practically after its establishment. Representatives of departments and agencies directly discussed and addressed these views, and committed to continuing to work alongside the enterprises, creating every favorable condition, and providing guidance and support so that the Association could soon stabilize its operations, promote its connecting role, and help improve the investment and business environment in the province.

Speaking at the meeting, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan emphasized that the FDI business community, with 260 projects currently active in the province, has made and will continue to make an important contribution to the province's socio-economic development. The establishment of the Korean FDI Enterprise Association in Thai Nguyen would build a united, cohesive business community that shares, cooperates, and develops together, helping to deepen the Vietnam-Korea Comprehensive Strategic Partnership, while enhancing the appeal of Thai Nguyen Province's investment environment.
He expressed the hope that Korean FDI enterprises would make specific commitments to help local supporting industry enterprises participate more deeply in supply chains, and expected the Association to become a model example nationwide, effectively promoting its role as a bridge between enterprises and the government and between FDI enterprises and domestic enterprises, contributing to building an increasingly sustainable industrial production ecosystem.
The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee directed the Provincial Industrial Parks Management Board to swiftly propose the issuance of an operating regulation and related provisions so that the Association could soon operate effectively. Departments, boards, and agencies were to proactively coordinate and promptly provide guidance to resolve difficulties and obstacles arising during the establishment and operation of the Association. He affirmed that the provincial leadership and the Provincial People's Committee would always work alongside enterprises, listen to them, and promptly address the legitimate proposals of the business community, creating a favorable, stable, and long-term environment for investment, production, and business.
