Attending the working session were Mr. Choi Dae-gyu, Chairman of NP Group; Mr. Son Byoung Chan, General Director of Dowooinsys Vina, along with leaders and representatives of the Company's units.

NP Group currently has 15 member companies operating in 3 core sectors: ultra-thin glass (UTG) manufacturing (Dowooinsys), semiconductors, and space rockets. Of these, Dowooinsys Vina Company specializes in manufacturing UTG glass for foldable displays, with 100% of its output currently supplied to Samsung Display Company.

For the Project in Thai Nguyen, in phase 1 the Company invested USD 120 million to build its factory. Building on that success, the Company is implementing phase 2, a factory expansion project at Song Cong II Industrial Park with a total investment of USD 130 million, and is set to break ground tomorrow (July 8).

Speaking with the working delegation, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized: Thai Nguyen is focusing on strongly improving the investment environment, while preparing the conditions to establish an Association of Supporting Industry Enterprises and FDI Enterprises, including a Korean FDI Enterprises Association, in order to strengthen networking among enterprises and support their sustainable development. He expressed the hope that Dowooinsys Vina Company would continue to focus on training and helping Thai Nguyen's engineers and workers find opportunities to work and develop their expertise in a high-tech environment; while also strengthening linkages with local enterprises, gradually enabling enterprises in the Province to participate more deeply in the Company's supply chain as well as the Samsung Group's production ecosystem.

Mr. Choi Dae-gyu, Chairman of NP Group, said that the Company maintains a close cooperative relationship with Samsung Group in Korea and stands ready to coordinate in receiving, training, and helping capable engineers and workers find opportunities to work and grow within the modern production environment of Dowooinsys Vina Company and NP Group.

Congratulating Dowooinsys Vina Company on continuing to expand its investment in Thai Nguyen, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan affirmed that the Province will always partner with and support the Company, creating every favorable condition for it to implement the Project on schedule and effectively, helping to promote the development of the supporting industry sector, raise the value of industrial production, and attract more high-tech investors to Thai Nguyen.
