The “Tan Cuong - Essence of Vietnamese tea” program will be held at Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space

This is a large-scale cultural event intended to attract visitors through Festival activities and develop tourism products associated with tea culture, tea-growing areas, ecology and local identity. It also aims to promote and effectively tap the tourism potential of Tan Cuong Commune.

The program will be held on October 31, 2026, at Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space. It is expected to attract 270 delegates, a large number of residents from hamlets across Tan Cuong Commune and other localities, and tourists, with various activities such as “The legacy of renowned tea”, “Unveiling Tan Cuong’s aroma”, “A century of renowned tea”, the “Colors of Tan Cuong tea” performance, “A gathering of tea aromas”, “The flavors of Tan Cuong”, the “Following the tea buds” journey, and hands-on experiences in tea making…

Visitors will be able to explore the scenic tea hills of Tan Cuong Commune

Under the plan, residents and visitors participating in the program will tour Tan Cuong Tea Cultural Space and learn about Tan Cuong Commune’s history, representative products, tea utensils and geographical indication; the program will also include introductions to distinctive products and completion of a symbolic map of Thai Nguyen’s tea-growing areas; exchanges and shared stories about preserving the flavors and developing the Tan Cuong tea brand; and opportunities to enjoy local cuisine and creative tea-based dishes and drinks. Other activities include visits to tea hills; learning about tea cultivation, care and harvesting; picking tea with artisans and local residents; practicing pan-firing, rolling, sorting and packaging tea; and receiving guidance on identifying, storing and brewing Tan Cuong tea. Visitors to the program will also be able to enjoy tea with artisans, exchange insights into the art of tea, attend workshops on creating tea-based products, play tea-aroma identification games, take check-in photos and create digital content…
