Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh, Chairwoman of the Board of Directors of Thai Hung Trading Joint Stock Company, receives the title “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur - Thanh Giong Cup” for 2026

The title “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur - Thanh Giong Cup” is awarded by Vietnam Chamber of Commerce and Industry (VCCI) following a selection process to mark Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day (October 13). It recognizes entrepreneurs with outstanding achievements in production and business who pioneer innovation, fulfill their social responsibilities, build corporate culture and comply with the law and standards of business ethics. In 2026, entrepreneurs were selected based on their achievements for the 2021-2025 period, through rounds of assessment by an award selection council comprising more than 40 members representing ministries, commissions and sectors, as well as experts, scientists, media agencies and related organizations.

For Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh, the title recognizes her strong leadership, management capability, innovative spirit and social responsibility for the 2021-2025 period. As Chairwoman of the Board of Directors, she has worked with the company's leadership team to reform its governance model and expand its business ecosystem in a modern, sustainable direction. From a metal trading and services enterprise established in 1993, Thai Hung has become one of Vietnam's major private enterprises, diversifying across three pillars: steel, services and investment. Alongside its growth, the company puts people at the center of its operations, builds on corporate culture as its foundation and actively participates in social welfare activities.

In addition to managing the company, Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh has made numerous contributions to business associations. As Vice Chairwoman of Vietnam Association of Women Entrepreneurs and Chairwoman of the Provincial Women Entrepreneurs Association, she actively connects and supports enterprises, particularly women-owned businesses, to improve their management capabilities and promote innovation.

Earlier, on October 2, 2026 in Vientiane (Laos), Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh was honored at the 2026 Outstanding ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Awards, presented by ASEAN Women Entrepreneurs Network (AWEN). These two consecutive recognitions, at regional and national levels, are a source of pride for the management and employees of Thai Hung Trading Joint Stock Company and the business community of Thai Nguyen Province as they mark Vietnamese Entrepreneurs' Day this year.

On this occasion, three entrepreneurs from Thai Nguyen Province were honored with the title “Outstanding Vietnamese Entrepreneur - Thanh Giong Cup”. In addition to Ms. Nguyen Thi Vinh, they were Mr. Nguyen Van Thoi, Vice Chairman of the Board of Directors of TNG Investment and Trading Joint Stock Company, and Mr. Nguyen Van Thang, Chairman of the Board of Directors and General Director of An Khanh Electricity Joint Stock Company.
