The delegation conducted on-site inspections at the former Bac Kan General Hospital (Duc Xuan Ward); the former Bac Kan Provincial Party Committee Headquarters; Thai Nguyen College Campus 2; the Nursing and Rehabilitation Center for Meritorious People – Facility 2 (Bac Kan Ward); and Nam Cat Irrigation Reservoir (Phong Quang Commune).

At each inspection site, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee assessed the status of facility management, operation, and utilization, and discussed with relevant units the challenges and obstacles in the process of arranging and utilizing public assets following the restructuring of administrative units.

Delegates focused their discussions on proposing options for handling surplus housing and land assets and submitted recommendations regarding funding for the repair and upgrading of several deteriorated works to meet usage requirements in the coming time.

Speaking at the inspection sites, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, called on localities and units assigned management responsibilities to continue accelerating the processing, operation, and effective utilization of public assets following the restructuring of administrative units. In particular, it is necessary to thoroughly review the current status of housing and land assets to develop appropriate utilization plans and prevent the waste of public assets. The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also required relevant units to carefully study and evaluate the reasonableness and effectiveness of each utilization plan before implementation, and to proactively prepare resources for renovating and repairing facilities intended for use, ensuring effective and purposeful utilization. Regarding Nam Cat Irrigation Reservoir, he called on the locality to coordinate with relevant units to thoroughly research its potential and advantages in order to develop an appropriate utilization plan, linking tourism development with the protection of the landscape and ecological environment.
