Thai Nguyen studies the deployment of real-time AI technology in disaster management
On the morning of July 7, representatives of the Department of Science and Technology and the Department of Agriculture and Environment held a working session with Spectee Company (Japan) to discuss the potential pilot deployment of the Spectee Pro platform, an artificial intelligence (AI) technology that collects and analyzes data in real time to support disaster prevention, response, and crisis management in the province.

At the working session, representatives of Spectee Company gave an overview of Spectee Pro technology and its potential applications in monitoring, early warning, and information processing when natural disasters or incidents occur. Accordingly, Spectee Pro is a technology that uses artificial intelligence (AI) to collect and analyze data in real time, supporting disaster prevention and response, crisis management, and decision-making in emergency situations. The technology has already been applied in Japan and the Philippines. Since June 2026, it has begun to be piloted free of charge in Vietnam.

At the working session, leadership representatives of the relevant departments and units reviewed and assessed the current status of science and technology application and digital transformation; consolidated implementation results and orientations for the application of AI in general and Spectee Pro technology in particular in disaster prevention, response, and crisis management in the province; and proposed potential areas for piloting Spectee Pro technology in Thai Nguyen, thereby helping to enhance early warning, response, and crisis management capacity, promote digital transformation in state management, and ensure safety for the people.
