Focusing on removing obstacles, speeding up 2026 land use fee collection
On the morning of July 8, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear reports on the status of implementing the 2026 land use fee collection task in Song Cong, Bach Quang, Ba Xuyen, Pho Yen, Van Xuan, and Trung Thanh wards and Thanh Cong commune.

According to a report by the Department of Finance, the 2026 land use fee collection plan for the above seven localities is nearly VND 4,080 billion. As of July 2, total collections reached over VND 871 billion, representing more than 21% of the assigned plan.
At the meeting, local leaders reported on implementation progress and raised difficulties encountered during the process, such as: Compensation and site clearance remain slow; land valuation, completion of land allocation documents, land use purpose conversion, and fulfillment of financial obligations still face many obstacles; some projects have fallen behind schedule due to incomplete compensation plans, ongoing public petitions, or unresolved land origin issues; some investors have not promptly arranged compensation and support funding to pay the households...

Representatives of departments, sectors, localities, and investors also pointed out the shortcomings of each project and proposed a number of solutions to resolve difficulties, speed up site clearance, land allocation, land valuation, and the organization of land use fee collection in the coming time.

Delivering directive remarks, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan emphasized that land use fee collection is one of the important tasks, contributing to achieving the province's budget revenue target for 2026. She requested that departments, sectors, localities, and investors focus on accelerating compensation, site clearance, preparation of land recovery documents, and the organization of land use right auctions, ensuring project implementation progress. Departments and sectors should continue to closely coordinate with the Department of Finance to review and fully compile statistics on projects and the specific progress of each project; and to consolidate and develop comprehensive reports on land use fee collection in the area, promptly reporting to the Provincial People's Committee for guidance and to resolve any difficulties and obstacles that arise.
