Leadership of Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Security reporting at the working session

The report at the working session showed that, over the past period, the Provincial Social Security agency has implemented solutions in a coordinated manner to carry out social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies; and has stepped up communication and dissemination of legal regulations and implementing guidance documents to residents and businesses. At the same time, it has proactively advised the Provincial People's Committee and closely coordinated with departments, boards, and sectors to issue numerous directive documents, effectively implementing social insurance and health insurance policies.

In 2025, both the rate of units participating in compulsory social insurance and the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance exceeded 100% of the target assigned by Vietnam Social Security. The collection and management of the social insurance and unemployment insurance funds have been carried out in a centralized manner and in compliance with regulations; the payment of social insurance and unemployment insurance benefits has been accurate, complete, and timely, with no losses, creating favorable conditions for beneficiaries and helping ensure social security and stabilize the lives of the People in the province. Along with this, the Provincial Social Security agency has continued to step up administrative reform, strengthen the application of information technology, and pursue digital transformation in managing and resolving benefits and policies, gradually improving the quality of service to residents and businesses.

At the working session, the Provincial Social Security agency also frankly pointed out a number of difficulties and obstacles in implementing social insurance, health insurance, and unemployment insurance policies and laws; it also proposed solutions to further improve the policy and legal system in this field, and contributed comments on the draft Law Amending and Supplementing a Number of Articles of the Law on Social Insurance.

Members of the working delegation highly appreciated the results achieved by Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Security, particularly the sustainable expansion of social insurance coverage, the rapid growth in the number of people participating in voluntary social insurance, and the low rate of delayed social insurance payments. These results show that communication, mobilization, and implementation of social insurance policy in the province have been carried out effectively.

Speaking at the working session, Comrade Lam Van Doan acknowledged and incorporated all the comments and recommendations of Thai Nguyen Provincial Social Security. The working delegation will fully compile them to report to the National Assembly and competent authorities, serving the process of researching and improving social insurance policies and laws, ensuring conformity with practical requirements and enhancing the effectiveness of implementation in the coming time.
