Continuing the working program of the 8th Conference of the Provincial Party Executive Committee for the 2025-2030 term, on the afternoon of July 9, delegates worked at the conference hall, discussed the agenda items, and closed the Conference.
Overview of the Conference
Attending the Conference were Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee; Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Member of the Party Central Executive Committee, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; members of the Standing Board of the Provincial Party Committee, and members of the Provincial Party Standing Committee; members of the Provincial Party Executive Committee; and leaders of departments, boards, sectors, and localities across the province. Also attending the Conference were representatives of the central Party building commissions.

According to the summary report on group discussions, more than 70 comments were made, focusing on Party building and socio-economic development. In a spirit of democratic, objective, and comprehensive discussion, delegates assessed that socio-economic development in the first six months of 2026 had achieved many notable results and continued to show positive changes. To maintain the growth momentum, the province needs to continue drastically and consistently implementing the tasks and solutions set out; focus on removing difficulties and obstacles, promoting production and business activities, creating favorable conditions for businesses to grow, and striving to fulfill the 2026 growth target while laying the foundation for the following years.
Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong delivers directive remarks
In his directive remarks, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong emphasized that, for issues on which opinions still differed, the lead agency should continue to research, review, and fully consolidate them; on that basis, the content should be finalized, outstanding issues clarified, and a basis created for evaluation, consideration, and a unified handling plan.
He asked agencies, units, and localities to focus on implementing key tasks in the coming time. Accordingly, in Party building work, efforts should continue to strengthen leadership and direction to effectively carry out key tasks; review Party regulations to guide communes and wards in consistent implementation; step up digital transformation within the Party; and renew cadre evaluation work in connection with inspection and oversight, applying a KPI system in management, administration, and assessment of task performance results. Regarding socio-economic development, he requested a focus on the coordinated implementation of solutions to remove bottlenecks, with determination to fulfill the double-digit economic growth target, paying special attention to removing the bottleneck in human resources. Efforts should continue to comprehensively review and assess the cadre workforce; arrange and assign the right people to the right jobs in line with the requirements of each area and field, ensuring the effective and efficient operation of the apparatus.
In addition, the province should continue to finalize the legal document system; review and update data, and complete the plan for allocating socio-economic development targets in line with the realities of each locality; accelerate the disbursement of public investment capital; step up site clearance to create clean land funds for attracting investment; complete planning work; and step up reform and cut administrative procedures.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee also asked units and localities to identify science, technology, innovation, and digital transformation as the development driving force in the coming period; step up the development of key agricultural products, especially raising the value of tea products; and develop rural areas in a comprehensive and sustainable direction.
Regarding immediate tasks, he requested that departments, agencies, and localities fully prepare conditions for the new school year; accelerate the elimination of temporary and dilapidated houses for eligible beneficiaries; effectively carry out the 500-Day-and-Night Campaign to step up the search for, collection of, and identification of the remains of martyrs; and organize the provincial defense zone exercise effectively.
The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee expressed confidence that, with the strong determination of the entire political system, the drastic direction of all levels and sectors, the active participation of the Fatherland Front and socio-political organizations, together with the consensus of the People, Thai Nguyen Province will fulfill the socio-economic development targets set for 2026.
