At the ceremony, delegates reviewed the 80-year journey of building, fighting, and maturing of the People's Security force. Upholding this tradition, together with the People's Security force nationwide, the Security force of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police has continuously matured, achieved many outstanding feats, proactively grasped the situation, and advised Party committees and authorities on the effective implementation of solutions to ensure national security, maintain political security and social order and safety, and provide absolute protection for important targets and political events, thereby helping create a stable environment for the province's socio-economic development. With especially outstanding achievements in work and combat, many collectives and individuals of the People's Security force of Thai Nguyen Provincial Police have been presented with noble titles and awards by the Party and State.

Speaking at the ceremony, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong commended the feats and achievements of generations of officers and soldiers of the People's Security force of the Provincial Police over the past 80 years. He affirmed that the People's Security force has always been the core force in protecting the Party, protecting the State, protecting the regime, and maintaining national security and the peaceful life of the People; he also highly appreciated the force's advisory role in ensuring internal political security, economic security, cultural and ideological security, and cybersecurity, thereby helping maintain political stability and lay the foundation for the province's sustainable development.

Emphasizing that the world and regional situation continues to change rapidly and complexly, that crime, especially high-tech crime, and non-traditional security challenges are increasingly on the rise, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee asked the People's Security force to continue to thoroughly grasp the motto of “proactive security”; improve the quality of situation monitoring and strategic forecasting, and proactively advise on the effective handling of emerging issues at an early stage and from a distance; firmly protect internal political security, cybersecurity, and economic security; effectively combat high-tech crime; link the task of ensuring security with socio-economic development; build a force that is truly clean, strong, regular, elite, and modern, promote the strength of the people's security posture and the posture of the people's hearts and minds, and continue to achieve many new feats, worthy of being the “precious sword” protecting the Party and the “steel shield” protecting the regime.

On this occasion, 2 individuals were presented with Certificates of Commendation by the Prime Minister; 4 collectives and 4 individuals were presented with Certificates of Commendation by the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; and 13 collectives and 29 individuals were presented with Certificates of Merit by the Director of the Provincial Police for their outstanding achievements in the peak emulation campaign “80 Days of Merit for a Peaceful Fatherland and the People's Happiness.” The Organizing Committee of the writing contest “Learning about the 80-Year Tradition of Building, Fighting, and Maturing of the People's Security force” also presented awards to collectives and individuals with outstanding achievements.
