Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee surveys a number of key locations in communes of the former Cho Don District
As part of his working program in the communes of the former Cho Don District, on June 18, Comrade Trinh Xuan Truong, Member of the Party Central Committee and Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee, together with the Working Delegation, inspected and surveyed a number of key locations in the area in order to grasp the actual situation, assess potential, and set development orientations linked to resource conservation, the promotion of historical and cultural values, and the improvement of the People's quality of life.

At Cho Don General Hospital, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged and highly appreciated the unit’s efforts to improve the quality of medical examination and treatment. The Hospital’s facilities and equipment have been progressively invested in; the medical staff basically meets the requirements of a grade-II hospital with a scale of 110 beds, examining and treating an average of about 200 patient visits per day. He expressed the wish that the Hospital continue to improve service quality and roll out electronic medical records in a substantive and effective manner. Regarding the universal health examination and screening program, he said the whole province is determined to complete 50% of the plan before June 30 and reach 100% by the end of October this year. To achieve this goal, the role of the Hospital and the commune health stations is very important. Therefore, he requested that the Department of Health continue to focus on strengthening grassroots health care, invest in equipment with clear focus and priority, and improve staff capacity so that health stations can progressively become "mini hospitals," better meeting the People’s health care needs right in their localities.

Surveying the Nam Xuan Lac Species and Habitat Conservation Area, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee acknowledged the efforts made in forest management and protection, biodiversity conservation, and the preservation of the natural ecosystem. Highly appreciating the special biodiversity, natural landscape values, and ecotourism development potential of the Conservation Area, which covers nearly 4,000 ha and currently holds 670 plant species, 192 animal species, and a population of 4,186 rare nghien trees (Excentrodendron tonkinense), he stressed the need to strictly protect the natural forest ecosystem and preserve rare genetic resources while effectively promoting landscape and indigenous cultural values to develop ecotourism in a sustainable direction. He requested that functional sectors review and develop an overall plan, study the formation of distinctive tourism products, step up the application of technology in forest management and conservation, and at the same time mobilize appropriate resources for infrastructure investment, turning natural resource advantages into a driving force for economic development and improving residents' lives.
Visiting the Money Printing Factory Relic Site in the former Ban Thi Commune, Cho Don District (now Yen Thinh Commune), the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee emphasized that this is a site of special significance, linked to the building of the country's revolutionary finance system. He requested that the locality and relevant sectors continue to study, preserve, and promote the value of the relic site, while also connecting it with other historical and cultural destinations in the area to form heritage tourism and traditional education products, helping promote the image of Cho Don as a land rich in revolutionary tradition.

At Nghia Ta Commune, where activities marking the 80th anniversary of President Ho Chi Minh's arrival at ATK Cho Don are expected to be held, the Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee requested that relevant units proactively develop a thorough, solemn, and safe organizing plan, ensuring the proper political and historical significance of this especially important event.
