Building on its advantage as a tea-growing region renowned nationwide, Thai Nguyen’s tea industry is entering a new stage of development, in which deep processing has been identified as the breakthrough factor for adding value and enhancing competitiveness. Following the direction set out in Resolution No. 11-NQ/TU, enterprises, cooperatives, and tea growers are steadily rethinking their approach to production, investing in technology, diversifying products, expanding consumption markets, and developing the "Thai Nguyen Tea" brand in a modern and sustainable direction.

On August 15, 2026, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, signed and issued Decision No. 2612/QD-UBND on recognizing the assessment results and issuing certificates to products meeting the 4-star OCOP standard - Round 1 of 2026.

On the afternoon of July 21, Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, conducted a field survey of the tourism development model linked to tea-growing areas in Tan Cuong Commune. Also joining the visit were leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism and leaders of Tan Cuong Commune.
