A highlight of the Festival is the provincial OCOP product development competition under the theme “The essence of Thai Nguyen tea - Innovating OCOP products, enhancing value”, aimed at encouraging producers to pursue innovation and creativity and make effective use of the potential and strengths of tea and distinctive local products.

Through the Festival, Thai Nguyen Province aims to honor and promote its outstanding OCOP products, distinctive agricultural products, craft village products and gift products; encourage enterprises, cooperatives and production facilities to improve quality, innovate, refine product designs and packaging, build brands and increase product value. OCOP product development is also being oriented toward the natural advantages, cultural values and distinctive characteristics of each locality, gradually improving competitiveness in the market.

The event also provides an opportunity for OCOP producers to meet distributors, retail networks, e-commerce platforms and trade promotion organizations; find partners, expand markets and strengthen linkages in production and product marketing.
