Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, presents gifts to students who won Gold Medals at international science and engineering competitions in various fields

Attending the program were Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Education and Training and the Provincial Study Promotion Association; and leaders of Samsung Electronics Vietnam Thai Nguyen Co., Ltd.

The Samsung Talent Scholarship program is an annual activity of SEVT, launched in 2018, aimed at encouraging the spirit of learning, motivating students to keep striving in their studies, and contributing to discovering and nurturing talent and developing high-quality human resources for the locality.

Over 8 years of implementation, the program has presented scholarships and awards to 3,268 students and teachers in the province with a total budget of over VND 6 billion. The program not only helps encourage the emulation movement of good teaching and good learning but also demonstrates SEVT's social responsibility and long-term commitment to the cause of education, human resource development and the province's sustainable development.

In the 2025 - 2026 school year, Thai Nguyen students continued to achieve many outstanding results at national and international excellent student competitions, affirming the quality of the locality's gifted education and its tradition of diligent learning. At the program, SEVT presented the 2026 Samsung Talent Scholarship to 97 students and 58 teachers whose students won prizes, with a total value of over VND 500 million.

Speaking at the program, Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, affirmed that Thai Nguyen has always identified education and training as an important foundation for developing high-quality human resources and a driving force for the province's rapid and sustainable development. He highly appreciated SEVT's contributions to the province's socio-economic development, especially in the field of education; and recognized that the Samsung Talent Scholarship program has become an annual activity of practical significance, helping spread the movement to promote learning and talent and to discover and nurture talent. He expressed his wish that the company would continue to partner with the province in promoting learning and talent and in training high-quality human resources; and hoped that students would continue to nurture their aspiration to learn and constantly create and train themselves to become useful citizens contributing to the development of their homeland and country.

Mr. Kim Iee Soo, General Director of SEVT, said that the program is carried out to give students more motivation on their path to conquering knowledge, while also expressing gratitude to the teachers who have devotedly nurtured students to high achievements. SEVT is committed to continuing to work alongside Thai Nguyen Province in education development activities, contributing to building high-quality human resources that meet development requirements in the new period.
