At the working session, representatives of Nui Phao Company reported on the implementation of the adjustment and expansion projects and a number of matters related to coordination with local authorities during project execution. According to the enterprise's report, with the province's attention and direction, the difficulties related to the taxable price for the natural resources tax have essentially been resolved, creating favorable conditions for the Company to maintain stable production and business operations. Regarding site clearance, the adjusted Nui Phao Project covers an area of 151.8 hectares, with site clearance for 9 households currently still incomplete. For the project to expand and explore the Nui Chiem tungsten-polymetallic minerals, the enterprise must carry out site clearance across more than 800 hectares in the communes of Phu Lac, Dai Phuc and An Khanh. However, the implementation process still faces a number of difficulties, particularly the allocation of resettlement land funds for the affected households. The enterprise proposed that the province direct local authorities to promptly develop resettlement plans, enabling the Project to be implemented as scheduled.

In addition, the Company stated that during the 2026-2027 period, it plans to implement a number of key projects oriented toward the application and transfer of high technology in order to increase the added value of the nation's minerals. The enterprise expressed its wish to continue receiving the province's attention and support during the implementation of the projects, thereby contributing to the promotion of local socioeconomic development.

Guided by the directive principles of “clear personnel, clear tasks, clear responsibilities, clear timelines, and clear implementation progress,” and under the chairmanship of the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, local leaders reported in detail on their coordination with the enterprise in resolving difficulties and obstacles; in particular, they focused on resettlement arrangement plans, site clearance plans, and the roadmap for implementing each task.

Delivering directive remarks at the working session, Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Vuong Quoc Tuan requested that Nui Phao Company continue to closely coordinate with departments, agencies and localities in resolving difficulties and obstacles, and proactively prepare adequate resources to implement the projects in a timely and effective manner. Regarding the enterprise's proposals, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee assigned the specialized agencies to swiftly finalize the relevant procedures and advise the Provincial People's Committee to issue a decision on the taxable price for the natural resources tax before July 20; immediately afterward, the tax authority is responsible for guiding the enterprise in fulfilling its financial obligations in accordance with regulations.

Regarding the outstanding issues from Phase 1, he required the localities through which the projects pass and where resettlement obstacles remain to complete their resettlement arrangement plans before July 30, while closely coordinating with the enterprise to conduct inventory counts and carry out compensation and support in accordance with the provisions of law. The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee required the communes within the project area to proactively prepare resettlement land funds and develop appropriate temporary housing plans, ensuring that affected residents have stable places to live and peace of mind during project implementation.

For the adjustment and expansion projects, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee required the enterprise to work directly with the localities to clearly determine the scope, area, boundaries of impact and area of land recovery, thereby proactively developing resettlement plans and land funds and ensuring the implementation progress of the projects.

The Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that the implementation of mineral mining and processing projects must be linked to the requirements of sustainable development and the efficient use of resources, ensuring a harmonious balance of interests among the State, enterprises, and the people, thereby helping create momentum for the province's socioeconomic development in the new period.
