In the first six months of 2026, Thai Nguyen Provincial Tax Department guided and supported 358 business households and individuals in converting to the enterprise model. This result helped raise the total number of active enterprises in the province to 15,574, reaching 89% of the 2026 plan; it also laid the foundation for effectively implementing the private economic development policy of the Central Government and of the province.

To help taxpayers carry out the conversion, the Provincial Tax Department has rolled out a coordinated set of measures. In addition to issuing documents guiding the implementation of preferential policies as prescribed by the National Assembly and the Government, the tax authority has also worked with departments, agencies, and localities to step up communication on the benefits of converting from a household business into an enterprise.

In the first six months of the year, the tax sector held 109 training conferences attended by more than 40,000 business households and individuals. At these conferences, participants received guidance on tax registration, tax declaration, the use of electronic invoices, and accounting regimes, and had questions arising during the conversion process answered directly. At the same time, working teams of the tax authority visited individual household businesses to provide advice and support; communication was also stepped up on digital platforms such as websites, Zalo, fanpages, and email to improve access to policies.

Through communication efforts, most household businesses have gained a clearer understanding of the new tax policy regulations as well as the benefits of operating under the enterprise model. The province currently has more than 77,700 individual production and business establishments, an important resource for further expanding the business community, helping strongly develop the private economic sector and drive the province's economic growth in the coming time.
