The Program opened with a tea-tasting ritual, a distinctive cultural feature of Thai Nguyen, the “foremost land of renowned tea”. The delegates enjoyed representative tea products such as: Tan Vien tea, a premium green tea line of Quan Chu Tea Joint Stock Company, with its quintessential flavor and meticulous processing; premium Shan White Tea from the Bang Phuc Shan Tuyet tea-growing area; and tangerine black tea blended with the elegant flavor of Bach Thong tangerines. Beyond introducing the distinctive flavors of the locality, each cup of tea also conveys the story of preserving indigenous values and the aspiration to bring the Thai Nguyen tea brand to the international level.

Speaking at the Program, Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong highly appreciated the Provincial People's Committee's “Morning Tea with Entrepreneurs” model, a practical forum connecting the government and the business community that helps promote investment attraction and socio-economic development.

He emphasized that the northern region of the province is facing an opportunity for a breakthrough as the strategic transport infrastructure system, centered on the CT.07 expressway along with inter-regional connecting routes, is being invested in a coordinated manner, opening up a new development corridor. In addition, with a large land fund, clear planning, and rich potential in minerals, hydropower, agriculture and forestry, and eco-tourism, along with the presence of Thai Nguyen University and high-quality healthcare and education facilities, the northern region has all the conditions to develop even more strongly. The province is committed to continuing to improve the investment environment and to partner with and create all favorable conditions for enterprises to implement projects quickly and effectively; at the same time, it hopes that investors will proactively study and expand investment in the fields where the province has advantages, contributing to the effective exploitation of resources and creating momentum for sustainable development for the northern region and the whole of Thai Nguyen Province.

At the Program, the delegates discussed the development potential and advantages of the northern region of the province; solutions to attract investment in the fields of tourism, agriculture, industry, minerals, education, infrastructure, green economy, and digital transformation; and orientations for expanding investment and development cooperation in the northern region.

The highlight of the Program was Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee presenting investment policy approval decisions and investment registration certificates for 3 important projects in the northern region, including: the Thien Long Cho Moi Wind Power Plant Project, with a total investment of more than VND 4,442 billion; the Cho Moi 4 Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project, with a total investment of VND 3,500 billion; and the Bac Kan Green Steel Plant Construction Investment Project, with a total investment of VND 85 billion. At the same time, it presented the land use right certificate to Thai Nguyen University.

At the Program, 9 memoranda of understanding on investment cooperation and on general cooperation were also presented in the fields of industrial park development, renewable energy, tourism, organic agriculture, medicinal herb processing, high-quality human resource training, artificial intelligence application, and linkages for the sale and distribution of agricultural products.

Speaking at the Program, Comrade Vuong Quoc Tuan, Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, sincerely thanked the business community and investors for their trust and partnership in choosing Thai Nguyen, especially the northern region of the province, to study and implement projects. He affirmed that the province always works alongside enterprises and creates the most favorable conditions for them to implement projects quickly and effectively, contributing to realizing socio-economic development goals.

Providing information on the outstanding results in investment attraction, the Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee said that Thai Nguyen currently leads the country in attracting foreign direct investment (FDI), especially high-tech projects. Together with the large projects that have just been started and the projects granted investment policy decisions and investment registration certificates at the Program, this will be an important driving force creating a strong ripple effect and opening up new development space for the entire province.

He requested that departments, sectors, localities, and enterprises continue to closely coordinate with Thai Nguyen University to promptly consolidate its organizational apparatus, complete its facilities, and ensure stable operating conditions before the new school year. The province is committed to giving maximum attention to and partnership with the development of the education and training sector; at the same time, he requested that the communes and wards where Thai Nguyen University's facilities are located regard this as an advantage and an honor, so as to actively coordinate and create favorable conditions for the University to well perform its tasks of training and scientific research.

For the projects that have just been granted investment policy approval decisions and investment registration certificates, he requested that departments, sectors, localities, the Management Board of the Provincial Industrial Parks, and investors move swiftly to coordinate in completing the necessary procedures, start construction soon, and put the projects into implementation on the committed schedule. He also requested that agencies and units continue to promote administrative reform, improve the efficiency of handling investment procedures, and build an open, transparent, and favorable investment environment, thereby continuing to attract strategic investors and creating momentum to promote the province's socio-economic development in the new period.
