Thai Nguyen Province launches the emulation movement "Thai Nguyen resolves to successfully achieve the double-digit sustainable growth target" for the 2026-2030 period

According to statistics, Thai Nguyen Province's Q2/2026 GRDP growth reached 11.28%, ranking third nationwide and marking the highest growth rate in many years. For the first six months of 2026 as a whole, the province's GRDP grew 10.01%, ranking ninth nationwide, laying a solid foundation for achieving the double-digit growth target in 2026. These results reflect the effectiveness of the resolute and coordinated leadership and direction of the Provincial Party Committee, the Provincial People's Council, and the Provincial People's Committee; the proactiveness and flexibility of departments, sectors, and localities; and the business community's efforts to overcome difficulties while maintaining and expanding production and business operations.

Growth continues to be driven by the industry-construction sector, which grew 16.65%; within this, the industrial sector grew 17.62%, playing a leading role in the economy. The agriculture, forestry, and fishery sector maintained stable growth of 4.26%, helping ensure social security and sustainable development. The services sector grew 8.04%, showing that purchasing power and commercial and tourism activities continue to recover positively.

These economic growth achievements continue to affirm Thai Nguyen's position as one of the country's leading centers for industry, electronics manufacturing, and foreign investment attraction, and as an important growth pole of the Northern midland and mountainous region. This will serve as an important foundation for the province to continue leveraging its advantages and promoting rapid, sustainable development, toward achieving its socio-economic development goals for 2026 and the years ahead.
