The 2026 National “Green Racing Lane” Anti-Drowning Swimming Tournament for Children and Teenagers attracted more than 400 delegation heads, coaches, and athletes from 16 units and clubs across many provinces and cities such as Hanoi, Hai Phong, Quang Ngai, and others.
This is not only an occasion for athletes to exchange, compete, and improve their professional skills, but also an opportunity to raise awareness and equip participants with knowledge and water safety skills, reducing drowning accidents among children and teenagers.
As part of the program, the Organizing Committee held many experiential activities and games to practice drowning prevention skills, such as: Who Puts on a Life Jacket Fastest; life-buoy rescue skills from the shore; boat racing; indirect water rescue skills; and Who Is the Best Jellyfish [UNVERIFIED TERM]. The activities were designed to be lively and engaging, helping children and teenagers learn while playing, practice situation-handling skills, and raise awareness of self-protection and helping others in danger in the water environment.
