Exchange of models for building happy families and promoting gender equality
On June 25, the Provincial Women's Union held a program of exchange on models for building happy families and gender equality, contributing to nurturing Vietnamese family values in 2026. This is a practical activity in response to the Month of Action on Domestic Violence Prevention and Control, Vietnam Family Day (June 28), and in celebration of the success of the 14th National Women's Congress for the 2026-2031 term.

Attending the program were Comrade Ha Thi Dao, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial Fatherland Front Committee and Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union; members of the Standing Committee and Executive Committee of the Provincial Women's Union; representatives of departments, agencies, sectors and mass organizations; and 250 officials and members of the Women's Union.

Delivering opening remarks at the program, Chairwoman of the Provincial Women's Union Ha Thi Dao stressed that the family is a cell of society and an important environment for nurturing love, responsibility and good moral values. Amid digital transformation and the many impacts of modern life, preserving and promoting Vietnamese family values is of growing importance. She called on Women's Unions at all levels to continue renewing the content and methods of their activities; replicate models of happy, civilized and progressive families; and step up communication on gender equality and domestic violence prevention and control, helping to build well-off, progressive, happy and civilized families.

At the program, delegates listened to a presentation on the topic “The Art of Preserving a Happy Family in the Industry 4.0 Era.” The presentation provided extensive practical knowledge and skills on building sustainable family relationships and communication and connection skills among family members in the digital age, helping to raise awareness and capacity among Women's Union officials and members for building happy, equal and progressive families.

Theatrical skits vividly conveying messages on building happy families

The highlight of the program was the theatrical exchange segment, featuring the participation of 12 teams from the communes and wards of: Duc Xuan, Cho Moi, Yen Trach, Trung Thanh, Bac Kan, Dinh Hoa, Tan Ky, Van Lang, Than Sa, Dan Tien, Thanh Thinh and Phu Lac. Through their skits, the teams vividly conveyed messages on building happy families and gender equality; domestic violence prevention and control; protecting women and children; and promoting digital transformation and family economic development.

The program was an opportunity for Women's Union officials and members to interact, share experiences, and spread the good values of Vietnamese families, while also helping to raise community awareness and responsibility in building happy, sustainable families that meet development requirements in the new period.
