General rehearsal held for opening program of the 2026 Thai Nguyen Tourism Season
On the evening of May 14, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square (Phan Dinh Phung ward), the rehearsal of the opening program of the 2026 Thai Nguyen Tourism Season took place. Attending the rehearsal were Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee; leaders of the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism; and representatives of related departments, sectors, and units, along with a large number of the People and tourists.

The opening program of the 2026 Thai Nguyen Tourism Season will officially take place on the evening of May 15 at Vo Nguyen Giap Square. This is a large-scale cultural and tourism event, promising to bring the People and tourists many unique and impressive experiences. The outstanding highlight of the Program is the bamboo pole dance performance with 1,000 pairs of bamboo poles — the largest such performance in Vietnam — along with a modern and eye-catching Drone Show in the sky of Thai Nguyen. Besides, the special art program with the theme “Symphony of the lake on the mountain – tea in the clouds” is elaborately staged, consisting of 3 chapters: Symphony of the lake on the mountain – tea in the clouds; Sounds from the Capital of War Resistance; and the Epic of Thai Nguyen – the magical land.

Through unique art performances combining tradition and modernity, the Program not only opens a vibrant tourism season with many attractive activities but also continues to promote the image of Thai Nguyen as a safe, friendly destination, rich in cultural identity; a place where nature, history, and people harmoniously converge, step by step affirming its position on the tourism map of Vietnam and internationally.

Delivering directing remarks at the rehearsal, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong acknowledged the efforts and sense of responsibility of the units participating in building the Program. He requested that the parts continue to carefully review the contents and perfect the organizational and technical work, ensuring the Program takes place safely and successfully, leaving a good impression in the hearts of the People and tourists.
