Awards ceremony for the 2026 Thai Nguyen Tourism Video Clip Creation Contest
On the evening of May 15, at Vo Nguyen Giap Square (Phan Dinh Phung Ward), the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism organized the Closing and Awards Ceremony for the 2026 Thai Nguyen Tourism Video Clip Creation Contest. The event was one of the activities held in response to the Opening Program of Thai Nguyen Tourism Season 2026.

Since the contest was launched, it received an enthusiastic response from agencies, units, schools, organizations and individuals across the province. The Organizing Committee received 325 video clip entries; of these, more than 170 representative video clips that met the contest rules and regulations were selected and published on the Fanpage of Thai Nguyen Portal, TNGOP. The video clips attracted tens of millions of impressions, nearly 10 million views and approximately 1 million likes, comments and shares. Many entries garnered hundreds of thousands of views, becoming powerful drivers of viral spread on social media.
A standout feature of the Contest was the strong participation of union members, youth and students, energetic, creative individuals with a deep love for their homeland. Through fresh, modern and emotionally resonant perspectives, the entries contributed to promoting Thai Nguyen Province's landscapes, culture and people to a wide audience.
With an objective, impartial and responsible approach, the Jury selected the most outstanding entries for recognition, including: 1 First Prize, 2 Second Prizes, 3 Third Prizes, 4 Consolation Prizes and 11 prizes for the entries with the highest engagement. The First Prize was awarded to a group of authors consisting of Luu Minh Duc, Ha Viet Dung and Nguyen Thai Giang from Thai Nguyen Newspaper, Radio and Television.

The Contest served not only as a valuable creative platform for young people but also as a practical activity contributing to the renewal of tourism promotion approaches in the current digital transformation context. Many entries are of high quality and strong communication value and can continue to be utilized in the province's tourism promotion and image-building efforts in the coming time.
Through the success of the Contest, Thai Nguyen Province continues to affirm the significant potential of digital media as well as the role and creative capacity of the younger generation in promoting local culture and tourism. In the coming time, the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism will continue to organize similar creative activities, while also selecting and effectively leveraging outstanding entries to serve the province's tourism communication and promotion efforts.
