These outstanding results further affirm the comprehensive educational quality of Thai Nguyen Province, while demonstrating the close attention and direction of the Education and Training sector in fostering a spirit of innovation and entrepreneurship among students. This achievement also serves as an important foundation for educational institutions across the province to continue discovering, nurturing and spreading valuable creative ideas, contributing to the formation of a generation of students who are dynamic, confident, innovative in thinking and driven by a desire to contribute.

The 8th National Student Startup Festival, held from April 17 to 19, was not merely a professional event but truly became a convergence space for the nation's young intellect; a platform connecting knowledge, technology and the market; and an incubator for the innovative aspirations of the next generation. This year, the Organizing Committee received 880 startup projects from students across educational institutions throughout the country and selected 135 outstanding projects to participate in the Final Round of the “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition. Projects spanned five categories: industrial manufacturing, artificial intelligence (AI) and STEM; agriculture, environment and energy; education, culture, tourism and finance; healthcare, wellness and lifestyle; and social impact business. In total, the Organizing Committee awarded 15 First Prizes, 30 Second Prizes, 55 Third Prizes and 34 Honorable Mention Prizes across all three competing groups (secondary and high school students, university students and vocational education students).

Prior to the national competition, Thai Nguyen Province Department of Education and Training also successfully organized the provincial “Students with Startup Ideas” Competition in 2026, attracting 266 projects from students at educational institutions across the province. From these, the Organizing Committee selected 165 projects for the Provincial Final Round, 20 projects for the Provincial Evaluation Round, 10 projects for the National Semi-Final Round and the 3 most outstanding projects for the National Final Round — all of which won top prizes.
