Synchronized transport infrastructure contributes to 13.1% growth in transport and warehousing in Q1/2026

In Q1/2026, total transport and warehousing revenue reached VND 2,948.1 billion, up 13.1% year-on-year. Freight transport accounted for the largest share at VND 2,121.5 billion, equivalent to nearly 72% of total revenue, up 13.8%; passenger transport reached VND 397.3 billion, accounting for over 13.5%, up 11.4%.

Cumulatively for Q1/2026, passenger transportation reached 5.6 million trips, up 10.3%; passenger turnover reached 263.6 million passenger-kilometers, up 10.4%.

For freight transport, in Q1/2026, freight volume reached 22.3 million tons, up 12.8%; freight turnover reached 843 million ton-kilometers, up 12.7% year-on-year.

Overall, transport and warehousing activity has maintained solid growth momentum, with freight transport playing a leading role, reflecting the recovery and expansion of production and goods circulation across the province.
