Thai Nguyen Province works with the Ministry of Foreign Affairs on preparations for the International Tea Festival - Thai Nguyen 2026
On the morning of August 20, at the headquarters of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, a Thai Nguyen Province delegation led by Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairwoman of Thai Nguyen Provincial People's Committee, held a working session with leaders of the Ministry on coordination in organizing the International Tea Festival - Thai Nguyen 2026.

The Thai Nguyen Province delegation was received by Comrade Ngo Le Van, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs of Vietnam and President of the Vietnam National Commission for UNESCO, together with leadership representatives from Department of External Relations and Cultural Diplomacy and relevant units.
At the working session, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, requested the Ministry of Foreign Affairs to support the province in connecting with and inviting diplomatic missions, international organizations, foreign partners, associations, businesses, experts, and international tea delegations and art troupes to attend the Festival. She also requested the Ministry to coordinate with and advise the province on ceremonial arrangements, diplomatic protocol, interpretation, and the reception of international guests, thereby helping the province showcase Thai Nguyen tea, the province, and its people to an international audience.

Speaking at the working session, Deputy Minister of Foreign Affairs Ngo Le Van acknowledged and highly appreciated Thai Nguyen Province's proactive and positive preparations for this important event. He affirmed that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs stands ready to work alongside and support Thai Nguyen in successfully organizing the International Tea Festival - Thai Nguyen 2026, regarding it not only as an opportunity to promote Thai Nguyen's culture and the Thai Nguyen Tea brand but also as a forum for connecting and advancing international cooperation in trade, investment, tourism, and sustainable tea-industry development.
At the working session, delegates discussed coordination measures, with an emphasis on external communications and Festival promotion, efforts to encourage businesses, corporations, and industry associations to participate in the International Tea Forum, and trade, investment, and cooperation in tea-industry development within the Festival framework.

With coordination from the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and relevant agencies and units, Thai Nguyen Province expects the International Tea Festival - Thai Nguyen 2026 to become a prominent external-relations event, helping elevate the Thai Nguyen Tea brand, promote the locality's image and potential, and expand cooperation with domestic and international partners.
