At the conference, the Congress Organizing Committee gave input on the Plan for organizing the 10th Thai Nguyen Provincial Sports Congress 2026 and the draft assignment of duties to members of the Congress Organizing Committee. Under the Plan, the 10th Thai Nguyen Provincial Sports Congress will hold competitions in 19 sports with the participation of thousands of athletes from localities and units across the province. The Opening Ceremony is expected to take place on September 26, 2026 at Thai Nguyen Provincial Stadium; the Closing Ceremony is scheduled for October 10, 2026 at the Provincial Cultural Center.

The Congress is held to assess the results of physical training and sports development for the 2022-2026 period; to identify and select athletes with outstanding achievements to add to the province's sports teams, preparing forces to take part in the 10th National Sports Congress 2026. At the same time, through the Congress, the province will continue to step up investment in and upgrade facilities and equipment serving sports training and competition, and improve the management, organizational, and operational capacity of cadres, coaches, instructors, and sports referees.

Therefore, the organizing work needs to be thoroughly prepared, ensuring that it is solemn, safe, economical, and effective, thereby creating a highlight and promoting the image of Thai Nguyen's land and people.

He assigned the Department of Culture, Sports and Tourism to take the lead in developing a detailed organizational plan, coordinate closely with relevant departments, sectors, localities, and units to fully prepare conditions on forces, facilities, and training, and implement the work strictly on the set schedule. In particular, the opening program needs to be innovative, concise, and to the point, creating a highlight that reflects the scale and stature of the Congress. The artistic performances must be carefully and distinctively produced, ensuring artistic quality and broad reach. For the marching contingents, units need to select suitable personnel, ensure uniform and disciplined formations, and organize serious, methodical training. In addition, he requested that units coordinate to develop plans to ensure security, order, traffic safety, health care, and other conditions serving the Congress; and to swiftly complete related content and promptly report to provincial leaders for review and directive input so that timely adjustments and additions can be made, ensuring that the Congress takes place successfully and leaves a fine impression among the People.
