Tea production process of Hao Dat Tea Cooperative

According to the Decision, moc cau (hook-shaped) tea product of Hao Dat Tea Cooperative, located at Nam Hung Hamlet, Tan Cuong Commune, Thai Nguyen Province, is recognized as meeting the 4-star OCOP product standard.

This is a signature product of the Tan Cuong tea-growing area, a place long known for tea products with distinctive quality and flavor. The evaluation, classification, and recognition of moc cau tea product as meeting the 4-star OCOP standard is recognition of the producer's efforts to improve quality, perfect the product, and develop the brand.

According to the Decision, the recognition is valid for 36 months from the date of signing and issuance. During the recognition period, the product must continue to maintain and improve the quality of the criteria already achieved, ensuring compliance with regulations on OCOP products.

The Provincial People's Committee has assigned Tan Cuong Commune People's Committee and Hao Dat Tea Cooperative to direct and organize the maintenance and improvement of the OCOP product quality criteria already achieved, in accordance with current regulations.

The recognition of moc cau tea as meeting the 4-star OCOP standard helps enhance the value of the tea product, strengthen the Tan Cuong Tea brand, and create more opportunities for the product to reach a wider market within and outside the province.

This is also one of the concrete results of implementing the One Commune One Product (OCOP) Program in Thai Nguyen Province, thereby encouraging cooperatives, enterprises, and production facilities to continue investing in improving quality, refining designs, building brands, and expanding consumption markets.

Having been recognized as 4-star OCOP, moc cau tea of Hao Dat Tea Cooperative continues to affirm its value as a distinctive Tan Cuong tea product, helping promote the image, outstanding agricultural products, and the strengths of Thai Nguyen to consumers.
