Evaluating progress of collecting land use fees in 2026 in 17 key communes and wards
On the morning of June 17, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Member of the Provincial Party Standing Committee and Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired an online conference with 17 communes and wards to evaluate the implementation progress of collecting land use fees in 2026. Also attending the Conference were representatives of leaders of related departments and agencies.

According to the report at the Conference, the province's land use fee collection plan for 2026 is over VND 9,290 billion. Up to now, the implemented collection amount has reached over VND 2,200 billion; the remaining target for the final months of the year is substantial, with over VND 7,000 billion still to be collected.

At the Conference, delegates focused on evaluating the implementation progress of projects expected to generate land use fee revenue; compensation and site clearance work, land allocation, land lease, land price determination, and related procedures. Concurrently analyzing difficulties and obstacles affecting the implementation progress of some projects and land use fee collection results in the area.

Delivering directive remarks, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People's Committee, emphasized: Some projects generating land use fee revenue are behind schedule or have not even been deployed according to the plan. She requested departments, agencies, and localities to review each project, clearly identifying responsibilities and implementation progress milestones; strengthening coordination with enterprises, and focusing on removing difficulties in site clearance work, determining land prices, and completing related procedures. She directed the Department of Finance to take the lead in reviewing and reconciling data, and building a specific working plan with each locality to remove difficulties and obstacles; and instructed communes and wards to submit detailed progress reports for each individual project. The Department of Agriculture and Environment continues to guide localities to comply with regulations on compensation, support, and land price determination; and to provide advisory support in resolving stalled projects, ensuring the completion of the 2026 land use fee collection plan
