Attending the working session were leaders of related departments, boards, branches, leaders of Phu Binh, Kha Son, Tan Thanh and Diem Thuy communes.

According to the report of the Provincial Land Fund Development Center, Phu Binh Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project has a scale of 675 ha in Phu Binh commune, Kha Son commune and Tan Thanh commune. Currently, 286.42 ha/675 ha have been declared and inventoried; 47.23 ha of compensation plan has been approved. For the priority area (190 ha), 187.75 ha have been declared and inventoried; paid compensation, advanced money, handed over 88.54 ha of agricultural land at 3 communes. For the priority area (214 ha), 215 households with an area of 96.67 ha have been inventoried.

Resettlement areas of Phu Binh Industrial Park include 05 projects, with a total area of 109.56 ha and a total of 4,590 resettlement plots according to planning, equivalent to 45.9 ha. Of these, 01 project has completed site clearance and is under construction; 02 projects are implementing site clearance compensation; and 02 projects have not yet implemented site clearance compensation.

With Thuong Dinh Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project, the investor is Stavian Thai Nguyen Industrial Park Development Co., Ltd; scale 128.18 ha in Diem Thuy commune. Currently, 551 households/650 households have been declared and inventoried, covering an area of 75.4 ha; 151 grave sites have been inventoried, with compensation payments completed for 142. The investor has submitted for appraisal of the compensation and site clearance support plan for 116 households/9.2 ha.

Currently, localities are deploying the site clearance work, asset inventory, submitting for approval of compensation plans for industrial parks and resettlement areas. However, the progress is still slow compared to the plan.

At the working session, delegates reported difficulties, obstacles in the site clearance, resettlement work; the coordination work in resolving steps to approve compensation plans for residential land, agricultural land adhering to the set milestones…

Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee, delivers directive remarks

In his remarks, Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People’s Committee emphasized that localities must recognize that developing industrial parks is a central task of critical importance to the province’s socio-economic development and must take direct responsibility for the progress of site clearance work in accordance with established plans. He requested localities to focus on resolving existing difficulties and obstacles; intensifying public communication efforts and engaging residents to voluntarily hand over their land so investors can deploy construction on schedule. The Provincial Land Fund Development Center shall take the lead and coordinate with localities in developing a rigorous, flexible and effective site clearance plan. The Department of Construction and the Department of Agriculture and Environment shall strengthen urging communes to make deployment plans for resettlement areas and promptly report difficulties arising to the Provincial People’s Committee. Investors shall proactively prepare resources for site clearance work and industrial park infrastructure investment, while actively attracting secondary investors into areas with completed sites.
