Accelerating site clearance for industrial park, centralized information technology park and resettlement area projects
On the morning of May 22, at the headquarters of Pho Yen Ward Party Committee, Comrade Duong Van Luong, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee, chaired a meeting to hear a report on the site clearance progress of the following projects: Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park, Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park, Yen Binh Centralized Information Technology Park and resettlement areas serving the projects.

According to the report from the Management Board of Provincial Industrial Parks, the Yen Binh 2 Industrial Park Infrastructure Construction and Business Investment Project, with Yen Binh Investment & Development Corporation as the project owner, has a scale of over 299 ha and a total investment of VND 3,650 billion. To date, the Project has inventoried over 209 ha; paid compensation and handed over more than 161 ha of site with a total funding of nearly VND 730 billion; a 33.5-ha priority area has completed handover; and a 44.1-ha priority area is being focused on by localities to mobilize residents to hand over the site to serve the Project implementation.

For Yen Binh 3 Industrial Park, invested by BMK Group Joint Stock Company, the Project has a scale of over 295 ha and a total investment of over VND 4,139 billion. Currently, the locality has declared and inventoried over 215 ha; and paid and handed over more than 56 ha. The inventory and approval of compensation plans in the priority area of over 41 ha are being urgently carried out to serve the construction of transport infrastructure and a centralized wastewater treatment station.

At Yen Binh Centralized Information Technology Park, invested by a joint venture between Saigon Real Estate Group and LIZEN Joint Stock Company, localities have declared nearly 47 ha of agricultural land belonging to 330 households; and advanced compensation to 122 households with an amount of over VND 31 billion. The inventory of graves and assets on land continues to be deployed.

Regarding resettlement areas serving the projects (Nga My Resettlement area and Mien An Chau Residential and Resettlement Area), infrastructure construction is being accelerated and they are expected to be eligible for land allocation in August 2026. Particularly, Nga My Residential and Resettlement Area No. 1 is currently undergoing inventory.

At the meeting, delegates focused on discussing and clarifying difficulties and obstacles during implementation, especially the shortage of resettlement land and the situation of non-contiguous sites, affecting the progress of technical infrastructure deployment.

Speaking at the meeting, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong emphasized that site clearance is a key task of significant importance for investment attraction and the socio-economic development of the province. He requested departments, branches, localities and investors to focus highly, coordinate closely and accelerate the progress of implementing tasks according to the plan; and strive to complete the site clearance of agricultural land areas in industrial parks before June 30. For investors, it is necessary to proactively secure financial resources, coordinate effectively with localities and accelerate the progress of resettlement areas to ensure stable living conditions for residents.
