Ceremony to receive Historical Site Ranking Certificate for the founding site of Yen Trach Central Hospital
On the morning of March 24, the 108 Military Central Hospital organized a ceremony to receive the provincial and municipal-level Historical Site Ranking Certificate for the founding site of Yen Trach Central Hospital (the predecessor of the 108 Military Central Hospital), and to celebrate the 75th anniversary of the Hospital’s Tradition Day (April 1, 1951 – April 1, 2026).

The Ceremony was attended by Lieutenant General, Prof.Dr Le Huu Song, Director of the 108 Military Central Hospital; members of the Party Committee Standing Committee and the Hospital Board of Directors; and former Hospital leaders from various periods. From Thai Nguyen province, attendees included Comrade Nguyen Dang Binh, Permanent Deputy Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee and Chairman of the Provincial People’s Council; leaders of provincial departments and agencies; and leaders and residents of Yen Trach commune.
On April 1, 1951, in Yen Trach commune, Phu Luong district, Thai Nguyen province, Yen Trach Central Hospital was founded (the predecessor of the present-day 108 Military Central Hospital). Over 75 years of fighting, construction, and development through two resistance wars against French colonialism and American imperialism, the war to defend the Fatherland, and the Doi Moi renewal cause, the Hospital has continuously grown to become a general and specialized hospital, the strategic final-level facility of the entire armed forces, a clinical medical and pharmaceutical research center, a postgraduate training institution, a member of the specialized medical center of Hanoi and the nation, and a nationally special-grade hospital.

In recent years, the Hospital has undergone continuous innovation and has steadily improved the quality of diagnosis, treatment, and patient care in accordance with its three-superlative quality motto: “Highest quality, consistent quality and quality as the top priority”. It has proactively expanded its scale and diversified its medical services to meet social demands and has maximized the collective strength of all staff to implement new solutions in leadership, direction, and administration. Speaking at the ceremony, the leadership of Yen Trach commune affirmed that the Party Committee, government, and people of Yen Trach commune will continue to unite, take care of preserving and promoting the value of the historical site, so that it becomes a revolutionary tradition education landmark for present and future generations.
Medical examination activities at the program
Also as part of the program, the delegation organized an incense offering ceremony at the Martyrs’ Cemetery of Yen Trach commune; carried out a free medical examination, health consultation, and medicine distribution program for local residents; presented 2 Gratitude Houses to policy beneficiary families in difficult circumstances; gave 30 gift packages to policy beneficiaries; and awarded 7 scholarships to disadvantaged students who had overcome hardship…
