TNG Viet Bac social housing project accelerating construction progress

The inspection delegation reviewed the TNG Viet Bac social housing project in Tich Luong Ward, with TNG Land Joint Stock Company as the investor. With a total investment of more than VND 1.23 trillion and an area of nearly 1.9 hectares, the project comprises two 22-story apartment buildings and 26 adjoining commercial townhouses, providing 1,029 apartments ranging from 29.2 to 72.3 m². The contractor is accelerating construction to complete and hand over the homes on schedule.

The Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee requested that the investor mobilize personnel and equipment, accelerate progress, and ensure construction quality, while coordinating with relevant units to fully prepare for the groundbreaking ceremony for the TNG Viet Bac 2 social housing project, expected in late October 2026.

The delegation then reviewed site-clearance progress for the Thai Nguyen 2 construction investment project in Phuc Thuan Ward. The Military Industry and Telecommunications Group is the project investor, with Viettel Asset Management Company serving as the investor’s representative. The project covers 105 hectares, including 91 hectares in Phuc Thuan Ward and 14 hectares in Thanh Cong Commune.

As of September 10, declarations had been completed for 86.5 hectares involving 122 households in Phuc Thuan Ward; inventories had been completed for all 12 graves and for land-based assets of 35 out of 36 households; and compensation and support plans covering 48.54 hectares, with a total budget of VND 82.01 billion, had been approved and fully paid. Compensation and support plans for the assets of 97 households are currently being publicly posted.

In Thanh Cong Commune, declarations have been completed for 14 hectares; compensation and support plans covering 11.07 hectares, with a total budget of VND 11.91 billion, have been approved; payments have been completed for 9.87 hectares, and further disbursements are underway.

Following the inspection, Comrade Nguyen Thi Loan, Vice Chairwoman of the Provincial People’s Committee, requested relevant units and localities to focus intensively on compensation and site clearance; review and promptly address difficulties and obstacles; and ensure implementation progress. The process must comply with regulations and safeguard the lawful and legitimate rights and interests of residents, thereby accelerating site clearance and implementation of the Thai Nguyen 2 construction investment project as planned.
