At the working session, the Group's representative introduced an overview of its capacity, experience and investment orientation. Established in 1986, Pacific Construction Group is one of the large enterprises, ranked among the top 500 largest enterprises in the world, operating mainly in the fields of investing, building, managing and operating infrastructure projects. The Group possesses level-one general contractor capacity in many fields such as expressways, complex urban areas and irrigation works... and simultaneously has experience implementing thousands of infrastructure projects under BT, BOT, EPC, BTO forms...

The Group's representative introducing investment activities in Vietnam

In Vietnam, since 2022, the Group has step by step expanded its investment activities, prominently signing a memorandum of understanding on cooperation with Hanoi City People's Committee on infrastructure development in the 2023 - 2027 period, with a total investment of not less than USD 5 billion. Several large projects participated in by the Group are being implemented, such as Tu Lien Bridge, Ngoc Hoi Bridge and the approach road system at both ends of the bridges; and the Urban Railway Line 5 Project (Van Cao - Hoa Lac) with a total infrastructure investment value of about USD 3.5 billion. Besides, the Group is also interested in and researching many key national infrastructure projects such as urban railways and inter-regional railways.

Exchanging views at the working session, Comrade Nguyen Linh, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee emphasized that Thai Nguyen has much potential and advantages in attracting investment, especially the system of industrial parks and clusters being planned and expanded; increasingly perfected inter-regional connecting transport infrastructure; an open investment environment and authorities always accompanying and supporting enterprises.

The Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee requested the Group to continue researching and surveying the reality locally; focusing on areas the province is prioritizing for attraction such as the development of transport infrastructure, industrial parks, urban areas and driving force projects. Thai Nguyen province commits to creating the most favorable conditions for investors to deploy projects effectively and sustainably. Both sides agreed to continue exchanging and clarifying specific cooperation contents in the coming time, serving as a basis for proceeding to sign a memorandum of understanding, contributing to promoting infrastructure development and attracting investment into Thai Nguyen province.
