Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong delivers remarks at the meeting

Congratulating all women on Vietnamese Women's Day (October 20), Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee Trinh Xuan Truong affirmed that the province has consistently focused on leading and directing women's affairs, promoting gender equality and creating conditions for women to apply their abilities and strengths. In all fields, female officials increasingly show intellect, resolve, organizational and management skills and responsibility; as a vital human resource, they contribute tangibly to socio-economic development, building the political system and strengthening the great national unity bloc. Nonetheless, gender equality and women's development opportunities need further attention, especially for ethnic minority women and those in remote, isolated and particularly disadvantaged areas. Enabling women to study, hone their skills, contribute and advance, especially by building and developing the female official corps, is important to the province's sustainable development. Scheme No. 29-ĐA/TU dated May 3, 2026, issued by the Provincial Party Standing Committee on building and developing a pool of young officials, female officials and ethnic minority officials under its management during 2026-2030, with an orientation toward 2035, gives concrete effect to that policy, helping create a pool of female officials and expand their opportunities for advancement.

The Secretary of the Provincial Party Committee urged Party committees and authorities, in the new development phase, to continue to fulfill their responsibilities in women's affairs and effectively implementing guidelines and policies that enable women to develop fully, improve their qualifications and take a greater part in leadership and management. Women's Unions at all levels should be proactive, flexible and creative, selecting practical activities aligned with local political priorities to bring women together and support them in fulfilling their roles and responsibilities, contributing to economic development and improving their qualifications and skills. He called on female leaders and managers to strengthen their professional competence, strategic thinking, analytical, forecasting and decision-making abilities, and leadership and management capacity to guide their teams' development. The Provincial Party Standing Committee continues to support female officials' growth and help them apply their abilities at work.

He also expressed confidence that female leaders and managers, together with all women of Thai Nguyen Province, will remain united and continue to contribute their intellect, resolve and dedication to helping Thai Nguyen Province develop further.
