Promoting e-commerce development in the Northern region

On the morning of April 23, at the Thai Nguyen Province Cultural Center, the Ministry of Industry and Trade, in coordination with Thai Nguyen Province People’s Committee, held the Northern region E-Commerce Development Program under the theme “Creativity – Connectivity – Spreading the Value of Vietnamese Goods”. The event represents a concrete step toward operationalizing digital economic development orientations, contributing to market expansion and enhancing the economy’s competitiveness for the 2026–2030 period.

The recent Typhoon No. 11 (Matmo) caused heavy damage in many localities in Thai Nguyen province, especially in agricultural production areas. Many areas of rice and crops belonging to the people were flattened, flooded or completely lost, directly affecting the livelihoods and production progress of the people.
