At the meeting, the investor's representative - YANGSAN Co., Ltd. - reported on the scope and proposed location of the Logistics Center Project in Thai Nguyen Province. Accordingly, the Project's registered legal name is “Kha Son High-Tech Inland Container Depot (ICD), Warehouse Facilities, and Auxiliary Transport Infrastructure Project” (referred to as the “Project”). The Project covers an area of approximately 43.1 hectares and is proposed to be implemented in Kha Son Commune.

The Project is planned to optimize the supply chain for import-export goods, lower logistics costs for enterprises in the province, and enhance competitiveness in attracting FDI capital from investors weighing where to invest, while also creating a modern industrial infrastructure landmark for the province. In addition, the Project is being developed amid Thai Nguyen's strong growth in FDI-driven industry and the Samsung ecosystem; demand for warehousing, transport, and logistics is rising rapidly.

At the meeting, the leadership representative of YANGSAN Co., Ltd. committed to developing, in a coordinated manner, infrastructure services for the inland container depot, warehousing, transport, and customs procedures, as well as infrastructure serving inter-provincial transport, achieving a minimum occupancy rate of 70% of the usable area within 36 months from the date the infrastructure construction is completed. The investor also raised difficulties and obstacles encountered in the Project's construction relating to land recovery procedures under the 2024 Land Law.

After hearing input from department and sector leaders on resolving difficulties and obstacles for the investor, Vice Chairman of the Provincial People's Committee Duong Van Luong, speaking at the meeting, emphasized that Thai Nguyen Province has always wished to attract investors into the logistics sector, thereby drawing investment and meeting the demand for transport and warehousing among enterprises in the province. He assigned the Department of Agriculture and Environment to take the lead in studying solutions to the land procedure obstacles, creating favorable conditions for the investor to swiftly carry out the next steps in compliance with the law, and to report the handling plan before August 25, 2026.
